Concert History
Steve Wilkos
Steve Wilkos is the host of NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's nationally syndicated series "The Steve Wilkos Show."
A native of Chicago, Wilkos served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for almost seven years before joining the Chicago Police Department. For almost 12 years, he kept the streets of Chicago's volatile 14th District (Shakespeare) safe while moonlighting during his off hours on television. Wilkos retired from the police force in 2001 and now devotes himself full time to his family and his show.
Prior to starting a show of his own, Wilkos filled in for Jerry Springer as host of the long-running "The Jerry Springer Show" on more than 50 episodes, using his law enforcement background and no-nonsense style to create his own identity as a talk show host.
Touted as a man of and for the people, Wilkos' popularity has skyrocketed and his sincerity and moral fiber have made for a very diverse fan base that includes people from all walks of life. When not watching cartoons with his two young children, Wilkos makes time to catch his favorite show of all time, "The Simpsons," for which he lent his voice for a cameo on a past episode (a milestone he proudly calls "the highlight of my career so far.") Wilkos has also appeared in several TV shows and films, including the hit motion picture "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me."
In 2008, Wilkos became a national spokesman for USA CARES, a charitable organization dedicated to providing financial guidance to post 9/11 active duty U.S. military service personnel, veterans and their families. "I am honored to be associated with USA CARES, and fully support their vision of providing the tools to sustain military personnel and their families," says Wilkos.
A huge sports fan, Wilkos can be spotted at various professional sporting events in his free time, such as baseball, basketball and football games.
Wilkos and his wife, Rachelle Wilkos, who is executive producer of "The Steve Wilkos Show" and "The Jerry Springer Show," have two young children and live in Connecticut.
The Miz
A devoted WWE fan his whole life, Mike "The Miz" Mizanin competed on the fourth season of "Tough Enough" in hopes of winning a contract to become a WWE Superstar. After finishing as the runner up, The Miz didn't give up on his dream and continued to train once the "Tough Enough" competition ended. Now, his hard work is being rewarded as the reality TV alum with the frat boy looks, sophomoric humor and explosive intensity is living out his dream as a Superstar in WWE.
The Miz was first introduced to TV audiences as one of the seven strangers on The Real World: Back to New York,"the 10th season of MTV's popular and groundbreaking reality show. Since then, The Miz has certainly made his rounds on the reality TV circuit. He's been on four seasons of the Real World/Road Rules Challenge, The Inferno, The Gauntlet, Battle of the Network Reality Stars, and recently as a competitor on a special edition of Fear Factor.
Alongside John Morrison, The Miz won the WWE Tag Team Championship, defeating Montel Vontavious Porter & Matt Hardy on SmackDown. The "Dirt Sheet" duo dominated WWE's tag team division as well as WWE.com's Original Series with their irreverent antics and shenanigans until they were split apart with the 2009 WWE Draft. Since then, Miz went on to win the United States Championship and the Unified Tag Team Championship, covering himself in gold ... but the egotistical Superstar wouldn't rest until he had the WWE Title in his grasp.
The Miz won the Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match in July 2010, earning a WWE Title opportunity at the time and place of his choosing. The "Awesome One" was seldom seen without his red Money in the Bank briefcase for months following that pivotal victory, reminding whoever held the WWE Championship that it was only a matter of time before The Miz would strike and take what he believed was rightfully his.
On the Nov. 22, 2010, edition of Monday Night Raw, The Miz finally made good on his persistent threats, successfully cashing in his WWE Title opportunity on a vulnerable Randy Orton to capture the most prestigious prize in sports-entertainment. With a Skull-Crushing Finale on WWE's Apex Predator, The Miz ushered in The Era of Awesome.
Ted Dibiase son of The Million Dollar Man
Ted DiBiase is the scion of true wrestling greats. Not only is he the son of WWE Hall of Famer "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, but he is the grandson of "Iron" Mike DiBiase.
The third-generation Superstar's place in WWE didn't come without hard work, however. In spite of his privileged upbringing, the younger DiBiase paid his dues for years. He trained with WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race and dominated the independent circuit, all in preparation for his WWE debut.
DiBiase has made it clear he has one thing on his mind – championship glory – which he got his first taste of by winning the World Tag Team Titles alongside Cody Rhodes at Night of Champions 2008.
Having also embarked on a career in Hollywood, DiBiase made his feature film debut in WWE Studios'The Marine 2. Following his foray into cinema, DiBiase went right back to focusing on his in-ring career. Through rough patches or smooth sailing, The "Fortune Son" will always be a determined competitor.
DiBiase is accustomed to getting what he wants, and what he wants is to live up to the legacy of his father. Though it's a lofty aspiration, with his breeding and training, it seems like an attainable one.
Jerry The King Lawler
A veritable icon whether he's dropping fists inside the ring or calling the action from ringside, Jerry "The King" Lawler has cemented himself as one of the most accomplished color commentators and Superstars in history.
A 2007 WWE Hall of Fame Inductee, Lawler is a favorite among WWE fans for his historic career and weekly contributions on Monday Night Raw with broadcast partners Jim Ross and, following the 2008 WWE Draft, Michael Cole.
A self-proclaimed king, this excitable and outspoken Raw color commentator from Memphis, Tenn., has been dishing it out with the microphone and in the ring dating back 30 years. He got his original break back home in the Memphis wrestling circuit. It's his gift of gab and southern pride that have on occasion led to "The King" lacing up the boots and getting in the ring again.
While "The King" has scored victories over legends such as Terry Funk and Hulk Hogan during his career, he is perhaps best known for his rivalry with entertainer Andy Kaufman. This led to a role alongside Jim Carrey in the hit film, Man in the Moon. The Lawler-Kaufman battles raged not only in the ring, but on television as well. Lawler's incident on Late Night with David Letterman where he slapped Kaufman is considered one of the most memorable moments in that show's history.
Lawler brings a unique brand of commentary to Raw that draws millions of followers around the world each week. "The King" has become so popular that he even wrote an autobiography. It's Good to be the King ... Sometimes, was released in late 2002 to critical acclaim and remains one of the best sellers in the WWE autobiography series.
John Cena
Let's be honest: hailing from the rolling hills and broad valleys that constitute West Newbury, Mass., will likely never earn you "street cred"--unless, of course, you're John Cena. Then again, it didn't happen overnight for him, either. Long before he became the Dr. of Thuganomics, young Cena had to endure the neighborhood rocker kids' taunts about his baggy pants and rayon Kwamé shirts. His love for freestyling lyrics about rebellion and individualism just didn't fit within the small rural community. By the time he turned 15, however, those same kids would stop teasing him, for it became apparent that Cena had been developing another passion: hitting the gym.
After applying to more than 60 colleges (and being accepted by 58), Cena attended Massachusetts' Springfield College, where he excelled as a Division III All-American offensive lineman and team captain for the Pride. But as much as he fondly remembers his college football accomplishments, he's equally as proud of earning his degree in Exercise Physiology, which he attributes to making him a smarter, more durable performer in the ring today.
Though a huge WWE fan since childhood, rooting for heroes like Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, and Shawn Michaels, Cena had honestly never even considered a career in WWE. Instead, he flew out to California in 2000, to pursue a profession in bodybuilding (a move he now admits to making simply because his father had told him he wouldn't make it out there). But while working behind the counter of Gold's Gym in Venice, a discussion with a wrestler-in-training encouraged Cena to enroll in classes at Ultimate Pro Wrestling. He was instantly hooked, and became motivated to learn everything he could about his newfound craft. He obviously proved a quick study; within a year, World Wrestling Entertainment signed Cena to a developmental contract to train at Ohio Valley Wrestling. By June 2002, he had joined the SmackDown roster, and less than a year later headlined the first of what has since become countless main-event matches.
That said, Cena has never forgotten his roots. In fact, remembering where he came from has helped him evolve into the man he is today: A well-versed hip-hop artist, a successful movie star and a blue-collared Superstar who's always ready to fight. He leads his WWE fan-based army into battle with the mission statement he's been down with since Day One: Hustle, loyalty and respect.
John Cena was also a rap star and was in movies The Marine, 12 Rounds and Legendary. He did his own stunts in The Marine. He has a cd with his cousin Trade Marc.
Triple H
Strong words, especially when one considers the King of Kings was once a 135-pound "beanpole" from Nashua, N.H. But when he received a free one-week membership for a small local gym one summer day, the 14-year-old "gangly" teen's life changed forever. For the next three years, he spent nearly every day in that gym, developing every muscle in his body and transforming himself into a six-foot-four, 210-pound powerhouse. He entered — and won — numerous regional bodybuilding competitions, including the prestigious Teen Mr. New Hampshire title at the age of 19. Yet The Game himself admits, "I never seriously considered becoming a pro bodybuilder…My dream was World Wrestling Entertainment."
Enrolling in Walter "Killer" Kowalski's Pro Wrestling School in Malden, Mass., the future Cerebral Assassin trained four days a week under Kowalski's "tough love" tutelage, then divided his weekends between wrestling in the independent circuit and managing a Gold's Gym in Nashua. Almost inconceivably, he would have to fly himself down to Atlanta in 1993, to convince then-new VP Eric Bischoff that he was "good enough" to join the World Championship Wrestling roster. Fortunately, the unlimited potential he showed at World Championship Wrestling quickly got him noticed at World Wrestling Entertainment; by May 1995, "Hunter Hearst-Helmsley" (a name which soon became more identifiable as Triple H) would make his WWE debut. And the rest, as they say, is history.
More than 20 years after entering that small Nashua gym, Triple H maintains the strictest of training regimens, incorporating techniques from world-renowned fitness trainers like Charles Glass. Such dedication has provided him with the fortitude to become a Grand Slam champion; the wisdom to shepherd the "Evolution" of then-newcomers Randy Orton and Batista to WWE Superstardom; the charisma to star in feature films, television shows, and commercials; the savvy to become WWE's Chief Operating Officer and the stamina to pull countless sophomoric pranks on Mr. McMahon as a founder of D-Generation X. And it's precisely what makes him "that damn good."
Triple H was in movies Blade Trinity The Chaperone. His real name is Paul Levesque. He is married to the CEO of The WWE Vince McMahon.
Paul Big Show Wright
Big Show made his in-ring debut in WCW where he left a massive impression as The Giant, and captured the WCW Championship on two occasions, along with the WCW Tag Team Titles. The Giant had an immediate impact in WCW, focusing his attention on some of the biggest icons in the industry, from Hulk Hogan to The "Nature Boy" Ric Flair.
In 1999, the mighty giant became a worldwide star upon signing with WWE. He continued to collide with Superstars of great renown and captured countless titles, including the WWE Championship. From "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to The Rock to Undertaker to Triple H, Big Show has battled and manhandled the top names in all of WWE.
In the years that followed, no Superstar on the roster could stand toe-to-toe with Big Show feeling anything close to confident, and with good reason. Using his incredible size to utterly manhandle even the most seasoned combatants, Big Show found success wherever he went, whether it be Raw, SmackDown or ECW. Among his myriad accomplishments, Big Show became the first Superstar in history to capture the WWE, WCW and ECW Championships when he conquered The Land of the Extreme in 2006.
Although he is known to display his outside the ring, including a comedic turn in WWE Studios’ “Knucklehead,” this titanic warrior is all business when he steps through (or in his case, over) the ropes. Armed with a mighty Knockout Punch and a vast array of high-impact maneuvers, there is not a Superstar on the roster who can intimidate Big Show.
He was in movies Jingle All The Way, The Waterboy and Knucklehead

Mr. Vince McMahon
he truth is, the Chairman and CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment couldn't make a global multimedia juggernaut without breaking a few companies. So he broke all of them, and took great satisfaction in devouring any wrestling promotion that refused to "join" WWE. As Sgt. Slaughter puts it, "He screwed everybody. That was the part of him that wanted to be the best there is."
Mr. McMahon admits to feeling a tad remorseful after acquiring his last, and greatest, threat—World Championship Wrestling (WCW), the seemingly "unbeatable" organization bankrolled by billionaire Ted Turner—simply because he missed the struggle. So in 2002 he decided to split Raw and SmackDown into separate brands, effectively creating his own competition.
